“Tiger Blood” is the seventh album from Swedish stoner rock band The Quill since they appeared on the scene in the early 90s. It is released by Metalville on the 24^th May. The band have built up a solid fan base on the strength of their previous albums and many years of touring and they won’t be disappointed by “Tiger Blood”.

There are some excellent tracks on the “Tiger Blood” and I’d recommend the album even if you haven’t heard the band before or aren’t too sure about the “stoner” rock genre. My favourite tracks are “Freak Parade”, “Go Crazy”, “Greed Machine” and “Purgatory Hill”

“Tiger Blood” sees the return of original bassist Roger Nilsson and is the second album featuring vocalist Magnus Arnar. The core team of Christian Carlsson on guitar and George Atlagic on drums is unchanged since the band formed.
