“The Human Race Extinction” is the third album by Belgian melodic progressive metal band Ethernity and it was released on 14th September by AFM Records. This is the female fronted band’s first album with AFM, with the previous two being released independently. There are 14 tracks on this concept album which lasts for over 70 minutes. The track “The Prototype” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 17th August.

“Until Death Do We Meet Again” is the debut album from Dream Child, a band created by former Dio guitarist Craig Goldy that also includes former Dio members, drummer Simon Wright and bass player Rudy Sarzo. With that line-up the influences should be fairly obvious! The album was released by Frontiers Music on 14th September. I’ve played four tracks from the album on the Friday NI Rocks Show over the past few weeks – “You Can’t Take Me Down” on 29th June, “Under The Wire” on 17th August, “Weird World” on 31st August and “Midnight Song” on 21st September.

Groundbreaker is a new melodic rock project that features F.M. vocalist Steve Overland and Work of Art / W.E.T. guitarist Robert Säll. Their self-titled debut album was released through Frontiers Records on 14th September. If you’re a melodic rock fan this is definitely an album you’ll need to check out as it combines the talents of two of the genres biggest names from England and Sweden. I’ve included three tracks from the album on the Friday NI Rocks Show so far – “Over My Shoulder” on 29th June, “Something Worth Fight For” on 17th August and “Will It Make You Love Me” on 21st September.

“Morph” is the third album from KrashKarma and it was released on 7th September by Splitnail Records. KrashKarma is a duo based in Los Angeles and it features Ralf Dietal on vocals and guitar and Niki Skistimas on drums and vocals. The band fuses a number of genres into a great sound and initially started as a four-piece but quickly shifted to the current format. The track “Stranded” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 21st September.
