English band City of Thieves released their debut album “Beast Reality” through Frontiers Music on 12th October. This follows the release of their EP “Incinerator” back in 2015 – tracks from that EP have been included on the Shows a few times. The band produced the new album alongside Toby Jepson. A number of singles have been released ahead of the album and four tracks have now featured on the Friday NI Rocks Show over recent months – “Buzzed Up City” (20th April), Born To Be Great (22nd June), “Reality Bites” (7th Sept) and “Fuel and Alcohol” (2nd Nov).

“Demoncracy” is the second album from German metal band God’s Army and it was released on 12th October via Rock of Angels Records (ROAR!). The band formed initially in 2004 but it was 2014 before their debut album was released. The track “Enemy Maker” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show this week (26th Oct).
Lizzies are female fronted rock band from Madrid, Spain and they released their second album, “On Thin Ice”, through The Sign Records on 5th October. Initially the band started off as an all-female outfit but they now have a male drummer. The band delivers some great metal tunes with a definite 80’s vibe. I included the single “Final Sentence” on the NI Rocks A-Z Show on 25th September.
