Interview with The Last Vegas bass player Danny Smash. The Last Vegas are an excellent rock band from Chicago probably best known for their 2009 album "Whatever Gets You Off" , the single "I'm Bad" and their association with Nikki Sixx. FOO Fighters? Yeah, they rock and Dave Grohl has the whitest teeth in the history of rock, and they're playing in Belfast at Tennents Vital: and they should be honoured - indeed I am assured they are - to be sharing the stage with Trucker Diablo!

Of course, we are a little biased, but seriously, between the Foo Fighters and Trucker

An interview with Whippz (lead vocals/guitar) and Lance Daniels (guitar/backing vocals) from The Burning Crows. The other members of the band, who play in Auntie Annies in Belfast on 8th September are Will Lockett (bass/backing vocals) and Chris Chapman (drums & percussion).

The Burning Crows are managed by Matt Goom (probably better known as the drummer for The Quireboys) and they released their five track EP "Never Had It So Good" earlier this year.

Magnum – On The 13th Day

I have to admit that in over thirty years of listening to and buying rock music I’ve never really paid much attention to Magnum. I’m not really sure why, but they just weren’t a band I followed in the 80s and I don’t own any of their albums. Apologies to all the die-hard Magnum fans, of which there are many!

So it was with a rather cynical head that I clicked on the link to the album download that the good people at Workhard PR had sent to Rock Radio NI. As always I had a wee listen before making a decision on downloading! Let’s just say I was rather surprised by what I heard and it was a no-brainer to hit the download button.

LET'S face it, we've always had a soft spot for Magnum: great guys, great music and something uniquely of these island in terms of their sound.

REGULAR readers know we here at Belfastmetalheadsreunited have no time for labels. Yeah, sometimes you need to add a wee classification, but if it's good metal, hard rock or punk then that's all needs to be said.

Bakken could, potentially have several labels attached to them, but they
