Pittsburgh band Twelve Noon initially released their debut album “Saints and Sinners” independently in late 2016 whilst they looked for a label. The band has now been picked up by Eclipse Records and the album got released officially on 9th June. The lead-off track “No Way Out” was featured on the Friday NI Rocks Show uploaded on 24th May and the title track “Saints and Sinners” on the Show uploaded on 21st June.

Twelve Noon started as a covers band in Pittsburgh in 2015, but quickly progressed to writing their own material. Working with producer Bobby Balow at the Raytown Production studio, they recorded 10 tracks for their debut album. As the band’s reputation in Pennsylvania grew, they landed support slots for acts such as Texas Hippie Coalition and We Are Harlot.

About “NI Rocks Recommends”

The simple idea behind “NI Rocks Recommends” is to acknowledge and promote some of the great music being submitted to Rock Radio NI. I'll not be giving marks or ratings or analyzing the tracks in great detail; just telling you something about the artist and the album. It’s a personal recommendation to go check something out, not a traditional “review”!

My musical tastes cover most things rock; from the not too melodic to the not too heavy. The albums that I’ll be recommending are those that you’ll hear me playing tracks from on my shows on Rock Radio NI.
