Cairo Son release their second album, entitled “Storm Clouds” on 14th March 2016. The band is based in London and this is the follow-on to their debut album “Heart Against The Feather” which was released in 2012. I recall seeing the band referred to as “post-grunge stoner rock” and wasn’t sure what to expect the first time I checked them out. I don’t claim to be an expert on the myriad of genre labels that circulate around the music scene nor of their application to rock bands. I do know what I like though, and I’m rather impressed with the latest album from Cairo Son.
