_{Frontiers Records release the new Sammy Hagar album, aptly named “Sammy Hagar & Friends” in Europe on 27th September (24th in N America). The album contains a mix of brand new tracks and some covers that are given the Sammy Hagar treatment. Throughout he is very ably supported by some of the biggest names in the rock music scene. The end result is a great album that features 11 tracks covering a wide range of musical influences from rock, through country to blues. The “friends” referred to in the album title include Kid Rock, Nancy Wilson, Michael Anthony, Neal Schon, Chad Smith and Joe Satriani.}

_{James Christian is probably best known as the lead singer of HOUSE OF LORDS, a band that I’m a big fan of, and I knew I was gonna love this album before I even gave it a listen. The album was actually released by Frontiers Records at the start of July so I’m slightly late in publishing this recommendation, but that at least means you’ve no excuse not to go and at least give it a listen – and preferably buy a copy!}
