They say you shouldn’t judge a book (or album) by its cover and generally I wouldn’t. However, I must say that the cover for “Tattooed Woman” by Miracle Master is pretty cool and I really wanted the album to sound great too. Happily, it only took one listen to discover that the content more than lived up to expectation. If you listen to my shows you’ll already have heard a few tracks. The album was released on 7th March on the Goldencore Records label and is being promoted through Rock N Growl Promotions.
“Tattooed Woman” is the first album from Miracle Master, a band that has its origins in German band Pump, but which has been revitalised by the addition of Oliver Weers on vocals. The rest of the band were all members of the successful German band Pump which came to an end following the departure of lead singer Marcus Jurgens. Weers has been involved in a range of musical projects, but is probably best known for his appearance in the final of the Danish version of the X-Factor in 2008 and for a subsequent solo album that featured Tommy Aldridge and Marco Mendoza amongst the musicians.
There have been two video releases from the album so far. In addition, personal favourites are the opening tracks “Come Alive” and “Fly Away” and the self-titled track “Miracle Masters”.
The full Miracle Master lineup is Oliver Weers on vocals, Aki Reissmann and Selly Bernhardt on guitars, Andy Minich on drums and Michael Vetter on bass.

About “NI Rocks Recommends”
I'm not a reviewer and I certainly don’t claim to be a journalist, but I wanted to acknowledge some of the great music being submitted to Rock Radio NI by artists, promoters and labels. That was the simple idea behind “NI Rocks Recommends”. To be honest I’m not really a big fan of the whole idea of “Reviews” as they just represent one person’s opinion!! So I'm not giving marks or ratings, trying to categorise bands or compare artists. The albums that I’ll be recommending are merely those that I would buy myself and which you’ll be hearing played on my shows on Rock Radio NI.
