“Devil In Me” is a five track EP that was released by English band Wicked Stone on 13th September. It follows the release of their debut album in 2017. I’d posted a recommendation for that release and tracks have been featured on the Friday NI Rocks Show and A-Z Show since then. The track “Couldn’t Take Anymore” from the new EP was included on the Friday NI Rock Show on 4th October.

Wicked Stone formed in 2015 and made a name for themselves with their live performances. The debut album “Ain’t No Rest” was released in October 2017 and is still available from the band’s website along with the new EP - https://wickedstone.co.uk/

Wicked Stone have played festivals such as Ramblin’ Man Fair, Planet Rock’s Winters End and Hard Rock Hell in the past and return to HRH in Yarmouth this November.

There have been a few line-up changes since the debut album was released. According to the band’s website and their Facebook page, the current line-up is Joe Hawx on vocals, Olly Smith on drums, Tom Lane on bass, Joe Davis on rhythm guitar and Dave Winchester on lead guitar.

About “NI Rocks Recommends”

This is purely a personal recommendation and some information about the artist and the album; not a traditional ‘review’. Most of the recommendations posted are for albums that have been sent to us digitally by the record label or promoter. Quite often I’ve also bought the album on CD or vinyl as well and sometimes I just feel the need to post a recommendation for an album that I’ve bought myself. Essentially these are albums that I like and which I’ve played some tracks from on the Shows on Rock Radio NI!
