GRINDSCENE Records like to release soft, safe, melodic stadium rock....like fuck they do! Brutality, challenging, face-melting metal is what the label has unleashed so far; and latest release: The Obscene Machine - The Obscenity Within is no different.

The new album by Swedish rockers Bai Bang was sent to us by AOR Heaven to check out before its release on 29th April. I have to admit I wasn’t too sure about doing an “NI Rocks Recommends” when I first gave the tracks a brief listen. The first two tracks “Everybody Everywhere” and “Gonna Make It” certainly ticked the box but a quick skip through the rest of the album hadn’t convinced me. It was only when I had time to sit down and listen to the album properly that the strength and quality of the remaining tracks came through. There are some real catchy tunes and great guitar solos on this album!
