If “Serpentine” was the one good track on the new Pretty Maids album “Undress Your Madness” and the rest were rubbish I’d still post a recommendation for it as that track is probably my song of the year!! Thankfully however the new album is full of great tracks and is likely to be one of my favourite releases of the year. It was released on 8th November by Frontiers Music. In addition to having played “Serpentine” on the Friday NI Rocks Show in September and October, I’ve also featured the tracks “Undress Your Madness” on 8th November and “Will You Still Kiss Me (If I See You In Heaven)” on 22nd November.

“No Chaser” is the debut album from Aussie rockers Ablaze and it got an official UK release on 1st November after originally being released in Australia last year. The band is currently in the UK on a tour centred around the Hard Rock Hell festival on 9th November and the Winterstorm Festival on 29th November. The single “Where’s My Drink?” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 8th November.
Swedish metal band Enforcer released their fifth studio album, “Zenith”, through Nuclear Blast Records back in April. Since then the band have been playing festivals across Europe and recently completed a two month tour of North America. In December they come back to Belfast as part of a tour supporting label-mates Municipal Waste – playing in The Limelight on 5th December. I arranged to speak to Enforcer frontman Olof Wikstrand via Skype on 18th November to chat about the latest album, the upcoming tour and much more.
That interview was on the Friday NI Rocks Show for 22nd November. The interview and three tracks are available via our MixCloud page at -

Italian progressive power metal band Noveria released their latest album, “Aequilibrium” through Scarlet Records on 25th October. The band formed in 2013 and this is their third album – all released via Scarlet Records. There is a strong link between Noveria and Italian band DGM with a current and a former member of Noveria also being in the latter band, whilst DGM guitarist Simone Mularoni at Domination Studios has had a hand in all three albums. The track “Broken” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 15th November.
