Yashin will release their new single ‘Dorothy Gale’ November 6^th 2015

The song marks a new beginning for YASHIN with a transformed sound boasting brutal screams, an anthemic chorus hook and prolific guitar riffing.  ‘Dorothy Gale’ was premiered on The Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P Carter.

YASHIN is a name that most people will remember from 2012 with their rise with self-released album ‘We Created a Monster’. From supporting heavyweights Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach and Black Veil Brides to appearing at Download and Sonisphere festival the band built an impressive fanbase and packed out headline tours across the UK and Europe.
Then, as quickly as they emerged the band took a step back from the spotlight to write and create something that would set them apart from anything they had previously released. Now with major record label backing and 2 years of work and passion fuelled into the writing and recording, Yashin’s new album ‘The Renegades’ (Mixed by Joey Sturgis) is finally ready to be heard.

DOROTHY GALE is the first glimpse of YASHIN‘s album and Sturgis portrays YASHIN like never before with their heaviest song to date. Lyrically the song depicts the pressure and limitations of life on the road and how friends can often become the enemy.

Kevin Miles: “The chorus lyrics ultimately show how we all feel sometimes. Even though we have the best job in the world, from time to time it can bring out the worst in us all, there have been periods where it’s been a constant struggle“.

Harry Radford: “We had a section in the song where Paul our guitarist had envisaged a guest vocalist. We both knew Itch had the potential to take the song to another level. I’ve been a fan of Itch ever since the King Blues, he is one of the best lyricists out there, so I called him and he was really into it, which led to him writing and recording his own part bringing a fresh dynamic to the song“.
