Metal Icons Black Sabbath have been announced as Saturday’s headliners, at Download Festival 2016, part of Sabbath’s final tour, named “The End.” They join Iron Maiden, who have already been announced as Sunday’s main stage headliners. It will be the third time that Sabbath have headlined the Donington Park Festival.
Ozzy commented: “Download is my absolute favourite summer festival. It’s always like coming home. See you all there!”
Download will reveal the third and final headline act tomorrow morning at 8am. Set your alarm’s folks!
Weekend, day and RIP tickets go on general sale this Friday 23rd October, at 9am.
