Anyone who went to see the Graham Bonnet Band on tour in November, should have seen supporting band Chrome Molly deliver an excellent performance. They release a new album called “Hoodoo Voodoo” on 27th January. I played the track “Pillars of Creation” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 9th December. On the Friday NI Rocks Show this week we have the second track to be released from Black Star Riders new album “Heavy Fire”. It’s called “Testify or Say Goodbye”. The band has also just unveiled a promo video for the album’s title track. Black Star Riders will be playing The Limelight on 5th March, supported by Gun and The Amorettes. It was announced recently that Armored Saint would be playing gigs in Dublin on 20th March and Belfast on 21st March ahead of their appearance at HammerFest in Wales. Prior to those dates, the band release a live album called “Carpe Noctum” via Metal Blade Records. The album features recordings from 2015 when Armored Saint toured to support the release of the album “Win Hands Down” (http://www.rockradioni.co.uk/back-stage/music-reviews/2071-ni-rocks-recommends-qwin-hands-downq-by-armored-saint.html ).
