Tequila Mockingbyrd who recently signed with Off Yer Rocka Recordings, have just released a brand new video for "Never Go Home". The track is a disco-punk tribute to youth, weekend antics and living life to the full, and a homage to their beloved Melbourne. The video depicts the band in 50 years' time, reliving their youth on a nostalgic rampage around their home town! Tequila Mockingbyrd will be releasing their debut album "Fight And Flight" on 24th March via Off Yer Rocka. The album was released in Australia in 2016. March 2017 will also see the band touring the UK with Bonafide.

Chrome Molly released four albums between 1985 and 1990 and toured with Alice Cooper in 1988. Like so many other bands of that era they then slipped back into the shadows, leaving a solid fan-base behind them. The band reformed in 2009 and released the album “Gunpowder Diplomacy” in 2013. They’ve stayed with earMusic for the release of “Hoodoo Voodoo" on 27th January. I played the track “Pillars of Creation (Albion)” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 9th December and “Can’t Be Afraid of the Dark” on the Show on 3rd February.

The third album released by Frontiers Music on 27th January that I’m posting a recommendation for is a little different from the other two! From 80’s rock icons we move to modern day gothic metal and the fourth album from Swedish band The Murder of My Sweet entitled “Echoes of the Aftermath”. I played the opening track “Sleeping Giant” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 3rd February and the title track “Echoes of the Aftermath” on the Show on the 17th February.
