_{Midnite City is the new band formed earlier this year by Tigertailz frontman Rob Wylde, and they released their debut self-titled album on 20th October via the AOR Heaven label. The band’s music has been labelled as “timeless, melodic rock / hair metal” and that seems about right! The album is definitely worth checking out. I played the track “Summer of Our Lives” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 13th October.}

_{English band The Raven Age bring their ‘Age of the Raven Tour’ to Dublin on 30th October and then to The Limelight in Belfast on 31st October. The band released their debut album “Darkness Will Rise” back in March and have already toured with bands such as Iron Maiden, Tremonti, Gojira, Mastodon and Anthrax. I arranged to speak to guitarist George Harris (son of Iron Maiden’s Steve Harris) by phone just before they went on stage in Birmingham on 25th October. _{Almost three years ago, on 17th December 2014, I was lucky enough to catch The Down ‘n’ Outz live when they played the Limelight in Belfast. It’s not every day that you see members of Def Leppard, Vixen and The Quireboys on stage together!
