Thunder are probably one of the best live bands you’re ever gonna have the pleasure to see perform. Anyone who caught then stealing the show (or at least sharing the limelight with Mr Coverdale and co) when they toured with Whitesnake and Journey recently will bear witness to that. When they’re not touring with Thunder, quite often you’ll find lead singer Danny Bowes and guitarist Ben Matthews performing as Danny & Ben entertaining audiences with a mix of great tunes and stories.
Rock Radio NI are delighted to bring “An Evening With Danny & Ben from Thunder” to Belfast for the first time on 31st August with a show in the Black Box.

I’m a huge Tesla fan and have been following guitarist Dave Rude’s solo project the Dave Rude Band for quite a few years too. In fact one of the first interviews that I posted on Rock Radio NI was with Dave back in January 2011. The Dave Rude Band released their new album “The Key” via Rat Pak Records at the start of June so it seemed like a good opportunity to do a follow up interview.
