“The Memories Uninvited” is the sixth album from Tennessee band One Less Reason and it is released through lead singer Cris Brown’s own label Tattooed Millionaire Records on 19th August. I must admit that I wasn’t overly familiar with One Less Reason prior to the release of this album. When our friends at New Ocean Media contacted me and provided the lead-off single “Where Were You” for airplay I was rather impressed though. (That track was played on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 22nd July.) When I got a chance to listen to the rest of “The Memories Uninvited” there was no doubt that this was an album that people needed to check-out.

“Alien Architect” is the latest album from North Carolina band Another Lost Year and is released on 12th August via the EMP Label (headed by Megadeth’s David Ellefson). You may have heard me play tracks from the band’s debut album “Better Days” on the NI Rocks Shows over the last few years, particularly the track “War On The Inside”. Another Lost Year have now followed up with a new powerful rock album, which for me at least surpasses that debut album. The track “Wolves” was included on the NI Rocks A-Z Show on 26th July.

The Dead Daisies release their third album, entitled "Make Some Noise”, on 5th August and as far as I’m concerned it’s easily their best to date. Having had a chance to listen to the album before the band’s recent gig in Belfast, I was already hugely impressed, and this was only reinforced by the live performances. I’ve played “Long Way To Go” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 24th June and 15th July and “Song and a Prayer” on 29th July. The album is released by Spitfire Music / SPV on 5th August.
