_{NI Rocks Recommends SHAKRA – “POWERPLAY”}

_{This was an album I was really looking forward to hearing and the anticipation has been well rewarded. I’ve been a big fan of Swiss rockers Shakra for a few years and I have to admit I was a bit concerned when original singer Mark Fox left after the 2009 album “Everest”. But replacement John Prakesh has now delivered two absolutely fantastic albums and in my very humble opinion Shakra are simply getting better and better!!}

_{I always have a quick read of the press pack before checking out any tracks or albums sent to us at Rock Radio NI. It helps to get a feel for what you’re going to be listening too and helps formulate first opinions!! So needless to say when I read that Danny Vaughn was involved in a couple of tracks from the “Dreamworld” album by Rage of Angels I was definitely checking it out!! As I read on I realised there were a few names I recognised and lots of reasons to check out the album!}
