Rock Radio NI had the great pleasure to spend some time (over the course of two days) with Whitesnake and Burning Rain guitarist Doug Aldrich. He was in Belfast for the Livewire Workshop guitar masterclass in the Crecent Arts Theatre and of course the first show of the Thunder / Whitesnake / Journey tour in the Odyssey.
The 40 minute interview is included on the Friday NI Rocks Show which is broadcast on 17th May at 9.00pm in the UK.
The show is also available NOW from the On Demand Player - http://www.rockradioni.co.uk/hosts/ni-rocks-friday-rock-show.html (it's the show uploaded on 15th May).

Cinderella were always one of my favourite bands of that classic late 80s / early 90s period and Tom Keifer was one of my favourite singers. Cinderella have survived legal battles and health issues and continue to tour although there hasn’t been a new studio album since 1994. A Tom Keifer solo album has been talked about for almost 20 years and was finally released in April entitled “The Way Life Goes”. It was a great pleasure to get an opportunity to do a short interview with Tom over the phone and ask him about the record, touring, musical influences and future plans.
