“Resilient” is the latest album from German band Running Wild who have been around since 1979, pioneering the pirate metal genre. Running Wild return with Captain Rock ’n’ Rolf Kasparek back at the helm after taking a break for a couple of years to focus on his project with Peter Jordan, Giant X. The album is full of infectious, instantly likeable tracks and was released through Steamhammer / SPV in Europe on 7th October. It gets released in North American on 22nd October.
SAY want you want, but it seems that there are bands that go out of their way to play in Belfast, when others leave it all to whether their booking agent can be arsed touting the acts beyond the North Channel.

VENREZ are an odd, but likeble bunch on record. They have produced an albumin American Illusion that is both challenging and accessible, and eight of its 10 tracks are straightforward rock with a lyrical social consceince.
