British metal band Eliminator have been around for about ten years and finally released their debut album “Last Horizon” through Dissonance Productions on 23rd March. They’ve seen a few changes in vocalist over the years and have previously released an EP, single and demo with their previous frontmen, but “Last Horizon” is their first release with their new singer. The opening track “2019” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 23rd March and a track will be featured on the NI Rocks A-Z Show within a couple of weeks.
Drive She Said were an American melodic rock band that released three albums between 1989 and 1993 and then reformed in 2003 for the original release of the album “Real Life”. That album was released via Frontiers and the same label was responsible for another come-back album in 2016 entitled “Pedal To The Metal”. Vocalist and guitarist Al Fritsch passed away in October 2017. “Real Life” has now been re-mixed and was re-released through Escape Music on 23rd March. The title track is included on the NI Rocks Show on 10th April.

I don’t post that many recommendations for live albums, but I’m making an exception for “Made In Milan” which was released by Frontiers Music on 23rd March. The simple reason for that exception? It’s L.A. Guns! Unfortunately I was in bed sick when L.A. Guns played here last year so the release of a live album is my consolation! There’s also a live DVD to accompany the album. It was all recorded at the Frontiers Rock Festival in April 2017. I included the live version of “Speed” from the album on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 23rd March.
A new W.E.T. album is a no-brainer when it comes to decisions on which new releases to post recommendations for! As anticipated, the new album “Earthage” is a quality release full of great tracks and given the talent involved in the band that can hardly come as a surprise. The album was released on 23rd March via Frontiers Music. I featured the lead-off single “Watch The Fire” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 19th January and again on 23rd March.
