Last year Eden’s Curse released a re-recording of their self-titled debut album to mark the tenth anniversary of the original release. They’ve now released “Testament” which is a two disc album featuring their best tracks and a collection of bonus tracks. It also includes the new track “Forever” which was featured on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 9th November. The album was released via AFM Records on 2nd November.
Swedish band The Heard was formed in 2016 when Crucified Barbara split and three members of that band set out to establish a new project. They recruited the bass player from Deathstars to take on lead guitar and a model / burlesque performer as lead singer. The Heard made their live debut back in February and their first album. “The Island” was released via Despotz Records on 2nd November. The title track of the album is included on the Friday NI Rocks Show this week.
Browsing Collection is a young, all-female band from Sweden that delivers rock / pop-punk inspired, energetic, catchy tunes. Despite the members only being between 21 and 25 years old now, the band formed more than ten years ago. On 26th October they self-released a new EP called “Don’t Want To Dance”. I’ve included the track “Thank God It’s Friday” on the Friday NI Rocks Show this week.

“The Road Through The Never” is the sixth studio album from Hungarian doom metal band Wall of Sleep, but it’s the first time that I’ve posted an album recommendation for the band. In fact I’m not sure if I’ve posted anything for any Hungarian band before! This album marks a slight change of direction for the band with there being a more hard rock / classic heavy metal focus. “The Road Through The Never” was released on 26th October via NAIL Records. The single “Deserter” will be included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 16th November.
