Back in 2014, Anthrax bass player Frank Bello and Megadeth bass player David Ellefson united to form Altitudes & Attitude and released a self-titled EP. On 18th January they release an album called “Get It Out” through Megaforce Records. Bello once again takes on the role of lead vocalist and both he and Ellefson also recorded guitars on the album. However, they’re also joined by a number of guest guitarists. The track “Out Here” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 11th January.

When I recorded an interview with guitarist Doug Aldrich in October we talked about the upcoming release of a new Burning Rain album in March called “Face The Music” - http://www.rockradioni.co.uk/interviews/3485-ni-rocks-interview-with-doug-aldrich-the-dead-daisies-burning-rain-etc.html - Frontiers have now issued a press release about the album and released the first single – “Midnight Train” (which is included on the Friday NI Rocks Show this week).

This week my guest on the Friday NI Rocks Show is singer Phil Conalane of Blackwater Conspiracy and formerly of Million Dollar Reload. We talk about the one-off reunion gig that Million Dollar Reload are playing in The Empire Music Hall in Belfast on Saturday 9th February and about future plans for Blackwater Conspiracy. The re-union features the five original members of the band that recorded the epic debut album “Anthems of a Degeneration”.

“Twelve” is the debut album from female fronted band Last Union which features Symphony X bass player Mike LePond. The album also features guest vocals from Dream Theatre’s James LaBrie on three tracks and it was released on 21st December via Rock of Angels Records (ROAR!). The single “President Evil” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 21st December.
