“Full Service” is the new album from Southern Californian rockers Pump 5. It was released on 5th April through High Vol Music. The band have been around for a few years, but this is the first time that I’ve heard of them. The single “Painted Flowers” was first released some time ago, but I included it on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 29th March.
The Quireboys were one of the bands badly hit by the debacle at Pledge Music, which has seen many artists out of pocket – along with many of the pledgers. I was one of the initial pledgers for the album and like many others, I re-ordered through Off Yer Rocks Records when it was clear the Pledge Music Campaign was terminal. The latest album from The Quireboys, entitled “Amazing Disgrace”, was released digitally on 5th April and on CD on 19th April. A vinyl release is to follow in June. The track “Seven Deadly Sins” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 5th April.

L.A. Guns returned in spectacular form with the album “The Missing Peace” in 2017 and followed that with the live album “Made In Milan” in 2018. They’ve obviously kept going at full throttle, as on 29th March they released the album “The Devil You Know”. The album is once again released through Frontiers Music. The single “Stay Away” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 1st February, followed by “Rage” on 22nd March and “Another Season In Hell” on 12th April.
