I first became aware of English rockers BlackWolf when we received their debut EP “Taking Root” back in 2012. That certainly impressed and tracks featured on the NI Rocks Shows on quite a few occasions. Their debut album “The Hunt” has just been released on the 2nd March. A couple of tracks have already featured on Rock Radio NI shows and you can be sure that more airplay is to follow.
The band has earned a reputation as great live performers and have supported The Temperance Movement, The Union, Voodoo Six and Jettblack amongst others. Original AC/DC vocalist Dave Evans released a new 4 track EP entitled "Nothing To Prove" through Rocksector Records on 3rd March. The EP was recorded during his UK tour in July 2013 and features Chris Appleton on lead guitar, Dan Bate on bass and Martin McNee on drums.
Chris Appleton from Absolva also co-wrote the three original tracks on the album - "Put Up or Shut Up", "I Believe" and "Reach For The Sky". The fourth track is a cover of the classic "Baby Please Don't Go".
