_{“Melodic” rock is (as I’ve said before) a very hit or miss genre for me. So when the promo material for the debut album from the Three Lions stated that the band were going to “take the Melodic Hard Rock scene by storm” I wasn’t too sure what to expect. Thankfully, the key word in that statement was probably “hard” as Three Lions deliver a great album with most tracks having a harder, heavier edge to them. The album entitled “Three Lions” was released by Frontiers Records on 18th April and is definitely worth checking out.}

_{I’ll be honest and say that I’m rather surprised to be writing a recommendation for an album by Sebastian Bach! Firstly, because he has been rather disparaging about Belfast and our rock scene in some of his recent comments. And secondly, because “back in the day” I was never really a huge Skid Row fan (with the exception of a few tracks). Of course, Mr Bach could care less what I thought about him, though he may be pleased to know that I do like his latest solo offering “Give ‘Em Hell” which was released by Frontiers Records on 18th April.}
