_{I must admit that I hadn’t heard of Doomsday Outlaw until the band’s debut album “Black River” was sent to us by BJF Media. It only took the briefest of listens to decide to download the album as there was something instantly infectious in those heavy, southern-rock/metal inspired tracks. The band formed in Derbyshire in September 2013, with the members coming together from other bands, and the album was released independently on 13th April.}

_{Mark Slaughter released a solo album entitled “Reflections In A Rear View Mirror” digitally at the start of 2015, but the full release date for the CD was not until 22nd May. In the UK and Europe that release was through Escape Music. Mark of course is best known as the frontman for Slaughter and continues to perform with that band along with original members Dana Strum on bass and Jeff Bland on guitar. This solo release, which was also recorded and produced by Mark Slaughter, is well worth checking out and provides plenty of evidence that he is still delivering to the highest standard.}
