That there would be an “NI Rocks Recommends” for Stormzone’s new album “Three Kings” is a bit of a no-brainer really! Stormzone are, after-all, consistently one of the best rock bands on the local scene and one of those that inspired the idea of “NI Rocks” over four years ago. Having said that, let’s be honest. If “Three Kings” had arrived in my in-box from some band in the USA or Europe that I hadn’t heard of before I’d still be writing this “NI Rocks Recommends”. This really is an album that you need to go and buy when it is released by Metal Nations on 22nd July.
FOR a band that has not had its sorrows to seek recently Slayer still manage to deliver the old school way - hard, fast and brutal.
