“Tales of Bards & Beasts” is the debut album from Spanish symphonic metal band Crusade of Bards and it was released on 15th November by Pride & Joy Music. The band formed in Madrid in 2015 and the debut album features a number of guest performers. The track “The Rise of the Kraken” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 15th November.

Adrian Benegas is a Paraguayan keyboard player and composer, best known previously as founder of the band Tragul. On 15th November however he released his first solo album, called “The Revenant”, through Pride & Joy Music. All of the music and lyrics are written by Benegas, but he has brought in a number of guest vocalists to sing on the tracks. These include Ralf Scheepers from Primal Fear on the track “Servants of the Death” which was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 15th November.

“Hollywood Cowboys” is the latest album from rock legends Quiet Riot and it was released on 8th November by Frontiers Music. The album was the second to feature the vocals of James Durbin, but he had announced even before it was released that he would be leaving the band to focus on other projects. He certainly went out on a high as there is plenty to like about “Hollywood Cowboys”. The tracks “Don’t Call It Love” and “Heartbreak City” were included on the Friday NI Rocks Show during September followed by n and “In The Blood” on 1st November.
