A regular feature highlighting some of the great album releases each month. I don’t do album “reviews” - these are just recommendations; simply a few words about the artists and the albums that appeal to me each month. These will be albums from which I’ll have been playing tracks on the Friday NI Rocks Shows recently.
This month there are album releases from Alirio, Blood Red Saints, Circus of Rock, Cruzh, Long Shadows Dawn, Nightranger, Steel Rhino & Black Swamp Water.
There are two NI Rocks Shows uploaded each week on Rock Radio NI. These are the playlists for those shows for the month of July – all of which are still available from the On Demand Player. There are tracks by around 180 different artists on the Shows this month. This month I’ve created a Spotify playlist for the Friday NI Rocks Show that features as many of the tracks as I can find. There is a July playlist and I’ll do one for each month in future.
There were no new interviews this month but there was a re-run of a recent interview with singer Robin McAuley as well as a special promo feature with Devin Townsend.
