I'm not a reviewer but wanted to acknowledge some of the great music being submitted to Rock Radio NI by artists, promoters and labels outside of N Ireland. I'm not giving marks or ratings. Let's just say that if I've went to the bother of writing this, I think it's worth taking a listen to!!

It’s Gypsyhawk’s second album but I have to admit that this is the first time I’d heard them. Although the band members have been involved in heavier, thrashier bands in the past this is definitely a no nonsense rock album and I quickly realized it was one I’d be wanting to add to my iPod.
WE suspect that the good people of Somerset have been boosting the strength of the scrumpy and cider - how else could one possibly explain the sheer ferocity of Flayed Disciple, whose latest release - Death Hammer - landed with a suitable thud on the metal mansion doormat courtesy, of the good people at Grindscene Records.
