ALBUM REVIEW: Artillery step it up on Penalty By Perception

WHEN Artillery released their last album 'Legions' it was clear that they were still a vibrant metal band, but come 2016 they have stepped their game up yet further on their latest release on Metal Blade 'Penalty By Perception'.

This is an album that not only deserves a place in the collection of all thrash fans, but deserves a wider audience beyond the realms of thrashers.

It is, however, more of a grower than an instant like. On first listen it comes

_{Nitroville are a London based band who released their second album, entitled “Cheating The Hangman”, through Mighty Music on 25th March. The band was formed in 2010 by Tola Lamont and Scottish-German guitarist Kurt Michael Boeck and their debut album “Can’t Stop What’s Coming” was released in 2011. Unfortunately it must have passed under my radar, but it got great reviews in the USA and Europe and the band toured widely to support the album. Thankfully, I didn’t miss out this time as “Cheating The Hangman” is an excellent rock n roll album and singer Tola Lamont is an awesome talent.}
