Local rockers Sweet Taste who signed with Rocksector Records back in February and launched their new EP "Hit The Spot" in April have just announced tour dates in England in July, including appearances at the SOS Festival in Manchester.

Press Release form Rocksector Records:

Irish rockers Sweet Taste announce English tour dates in July as follows....

18th : Grimsby, Yardbirds Club (w/Dave Evans)

19th : Lincoln, Siren FM (acoustic session)

20th : Manchester, SOS Festival (electric set)

21st : Manchester, SOS Festival (acoustic set)

25th : Manchester, Grand Central

26th : Bury, Flying Shuttle

27th : Burnley, Sanctuary

The band will also be performing a short series of promotional acoustic performances in-between the main shows in this tour - further details to come.

The Grimsby show is as opener for the original AC/DC singer & labelmate Dave Evans, whilst the last 3 shows are as headliners. At SOS Festival the band will be sharing the stage again with Dave Evans, plus other Rocksector bands such as ExitState, Wizz Wizzard, Fantasist & more. More details on SOS Festival are at www.sosfestival.net

Says Mark Appleton of Rocksector.... "this is a great re-introduction to mainland UK for Sweet Taste. They played a great set at Hard Rock Hell in North Wales previously & weren't able to immediately follow-up on that, but these July dates will set the band nicely for further trips across the UK & into Europe"

Sweet Taste released their EP "Hit The Spot" recently & a highly successful launch gig took place at Belfast Empire Hall on 18th April. The EP is available now direct from Rocksector or digitally at iTunes & Amazon MP3, & is also released on Amazon.co.uk & other stores from next week. One track is available free - just follow the link from the Rocksector website at www.rocksector.com where further information can also be found.

The band's sound has been described as "Zeppelin-meets-Aerosmith" (Planet Mosh) with more than a hint of the swagger & groove of Black Crowes.
