_{The Dead Daisies release their third album, entitled "Make Some Noise”, on 5th August and as far as I’m concerned it’s easily their best to date. Having had a chance to listen to the album before the band’s recent gig in Belfast, I was already hugely impressed, and this was only reinforced by the live performances. I’ve played “Long Way To Go” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 24th June and 15th July and “Song and a Prayer” on 29th July. The album is released by Spitfire Music / SPV on 5th August.}

 

 

_{Some people may have complained about the number of cover versions included in the set-list in Belfast, but The Dead Daisies actually played 8 of the 12 tracks from “Make Some Noise”. It just so happens that this included the two covers that are included on the album – The Who’s “Join Together” and Creedence Clearwater Revivals “Fortunate Son”. _{Described on their website as a “collective”, The Dead Daisies have seen numerous line-up changes over the three years since their first album in 2013. The current line-up has John Corabi on vocals, Doug Aldrich and David Lowy on guitars, Marco Mendoza on bass and Brian Tichy on drums.}
