_{Dirty Thrills released their self-titled debut album on 17th November. I must admit I don’t think that I’d heard of the band prior to receipt of the press release from Toxic Area Media; although the band formed in 2012 and seem to have been getting some decent media coverage. With a name like Dirty Thrills I was half expecting a sleaze / glam rock influence when I listened to the album. What I got was a rather pleasant surprise. Dirty Thrills deliver some good old fashioned rock n roll tunes, clearly more influenced by classic rock / blues sounds than by sleaze / glam artists.}

 

 

 

 

 

_{Dirty Thrills previous release was an EP called “Growing Young” in 2013. A new single entitled “No Resolve” (track 1 on the album) was also released on 17th November at the same time as the album. A video for that track will be released too. There are ten tracks on the album and all are well worth checking out.}

_{Dirty Thrills frontman Louis James is the son of Moody Blues singer Nicky James. The rest of the band is Jack Fawdry on guitar, Steve Corrigan on drums and Aaron Plows on bass.
