Following on from their debut song ‘Become Numb’ released back in February, former Mutiny Within frontman Chris Clancy and Sacred Mother Tongue guitarist Andy James have released new band WEARING SCARS’ debut music video.

“Writing is almost like therapy for me and I wrote this song in a particularly tough time.” Says Chris. “It’s about how no matter what is currently happening in life and how dark the time may be, there will be a time in the future where you’ll look back and reflect upon it knowing you’ve overcome the obstacles that were once in your way. The song has come full circle for me, written at a dark time, I now look back having done what I set out to do. I’m now looking back as the butterfly knowing those days are in the past.”

“Having put the album together with Andy, it was only on the day that I actually met the rest of the band for the first time myself. I think it’s clear to see that we just hit off and I’m stoked to see what the future holds. For the first time in my life, I’m doing the music that I want to do, the way I want to do it.”

The promise shown by WEARING SCARS’ personnel of seasoned pros and songs so big an arena will barely contain them is clearly evident, and highly anticipated live shows are currently being worked on.

Their debut album, ‘A Thousand Words’, will be released via Candyman Records on July 24^th.
