Happy easter everyone!  A great weekend to remember Jesus!

Today was Good Friday, and where was I? Down at the Spring & Airbrake shooting TASTE, a classic 3 piece irish rock/blues band.

Taste are most famously known for being led by the

late, great, Irish, rock guitarist, RORY GALLAGHER.  Nowadays the band is being led by the drummer JOHN WILSON, whom performed along side Rory in Taste.  Now the band have a whole new line up, featuring SAM DAVIDSON on lead vocals and guitar, and ALBERT MILLS on bass guitar.

All in all it was a great night! Sad about the lack of people in the crowd, but that didn’t stop the music from happening, as well as the banter!

Supporting Taste were VOODOO TRAIN, an Irish rock band that performed classic rock tunes such as Don’t Believe a Word (paid tribute to GARY MOORE) and Mississipi Queen.

Voodoo Train: Some sliding going on here!

Voodoo Train: Giving it stacks!

Although I didn’t get to see much of Taste, what all i heard was phenominal!  Sadly there was no special appearence from Mr. G, HA HA!

Taste: The man himself, Mr. John Wilson.

Taste: Filling in Rory’s shoes, Sam Davidson.
