“Rebuild Destroy” is the third album from Australian rockers Massive and it was released on 1st February via Off Yer Rocka Recordings. The band formed in 2012 and released their first album independently in 2013, before being picked up by Earache Records who re-released the first album and then released the follow-up in 2016. “Rebuild Destroy” is the band’s first release with OYR. The track “Long Time Coming” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 25th January.
Massive was formed in 2012 and by that December had entered the studio to record their debut album “Full Throttle” which was released independently during 2013. The band signed to Earache Records in February 2014 and “Full Throttle” was re-released in July after having been given away as a free album with ‘Classic Rock’ Magazine in May and as a free download on Google Play!
Following a number of successful support tours in Europe and Australia, the second album “Destination Somewhere” was released in April 2016. Massive then undertook a lengthy headline tour around Europe, supported Living Colour in Australia and returned to the UK in 2017 for another tour and several festival appearances.
There have been a number of line-up changes over the years. Founding member, singer and guitarist Brad Marr, has remained with the band throughout. Original member, lead guitarist Ben Laguda departed for a time between 2015 – 2017 but is now back in the band. Those two were joined by drummer Andrew Greenlee in 2018. There have been a number of bass players in the band and the latest in Brenton Kewish.
